Seventy-Two Hours
In the heart of Abuja, Nigeria, the Abbo family grapples with a 72-hour curfew imposed to curb the city’s escalating crime rate. Rt. Hon. Clement Abbo, a former member of the National Assembly, and his wife, Cleopatra, a devout Christian, find themselves caught in a power struggle over a $4,000 business-class flight ticket sent by their daughter, Been-to, a nurse in San Diego, California.
Their children, Junior, an unemployed graduate, and Karaibo, an undergraduate student, add to the chaos with their contrasting ambitions and perspectives. As tensions rise and secrets unravel, the Abbo family must confront their individual desires and the harsh realities of life in Nigeria.
